Flatbed Trailer Dimensions
Flatbed trailers are the most common type of open trailers. There are many types of items that it can transport, but it is usually used to transport goods that cannot be put in a dry van trailer, such as wood, steel, machinery, etc. According to the different transported goods, flatbed semi-trailers have also evolved into different types.

- Cargo on main deck length: 29 feet
- Cargo height on main deck: 11.5 feet
- Cargo on foredeck length: 10 feet
- Cargo height on the foredeck: 8.5 feet
- Cargo length on the rear deck: 9 feet
- Cargo height on the aft deck: 10 feet
- Width: 8.5 feet
- Cargo weight: 45,000 lbs.
Extendable Flatbed Dimensions
It is almost the same size as a standard flatbed trailer, but with a retractable main deck of up to 80 feet. It is typically used to transport non-detachable, long cargo, such as wind turbine blades.
- Maximum cargo length: 48 – 80 feet
- Height: 8.5 feet
